Research Area:
Mr. Lihao Xu is now doing his research on developing a color discrimination model, which is a complementary lighting quality in addition to the currently used color rendering index (CRI). He has investigated the cross media color reproduction of real lighting environment using the state-of-the-art color appearance model CIECAM02 and successfully reproduced a room appearance on a display. His PhD thesis will be related with the perception of texture, the modeling of texture and the quantification of the texture perception. Journal Publications:
